- Monitor and record crop growth, soil health, and pest/disease conditions using tools like drones and GPS devices.
- Provide technical advice to farmers on crop management, pest control, and soil fertility.
- Develop and implement agronomic plans tailored to specific farm needs.
- Conduct field visits and surveys to assess crop performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with agricultural experts and researchers to stay updated on the latest agronomic practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pest management strategies.
- Train farmers on best practices in crop rotation, irrigation, and fertilization.
- Ensure compliance with Cargill's sustainability and environmental standards.
🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in agronomy or related field.
- Familiarity with agronomic software such as CropX or FarmLogs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with farmers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local farming practices and challenges in Kalimantan Barat.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to various farm locations.
- Fluency in both English and Indonesian languages.
